CAM Field Faculty
The Cochrane CAM Field resides within and is sponsored by the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. The Center’s director, Brian Berman, MD, co-founded the CAM Field in 1996, and since this time has served continuously as the Field’s coordinator. Eric Manheimer, MS, who has worked continuously on behalf of the Cochrane Collaboration since 1997, serves as the Field’s methodologist and administrator. Susan Wieland, PhD, who has been involved with the Cochrane Collaboration since 2000, serves also as the Field’s methodologist.
Advisory Board
The 25 methodologists and clinicians who comprise the CAM Field Advisory Board help to steer the course of the CAM Field, and contribute to the CAM Field activities, including commenting on future directions for the Field and contributing to core activities of the CAM Field (e.g., reviewing Cochrane CAM-related reviews and protocols).
