Betsey Gilbert, CMT will present:
Massage Therapy as an approach to Pain Relief
There is tremendous history to the use of massage to alleviate pain. When someone has sore and tired muscles it is natural and instinctive to rub the area to obtain relief. Today we are fortunate to have evidence based support to the use of massage to alleviate pain and reduce the effects of stress. Many patients use massage to alleviate painful conditions such as headaches, neck pain and whiplash, back pain and sciatica as well as postoperative pain. Please join Betsey Gilbert LMT as she discusses the evidence supporting massage therapy and craniosacral therapy.
